How I Work
Working somatically means bringing awareness to sensation, breath, gesture, and movement, and using these practices to allow information, soothing, healing, and resilience to come from the body. Somatic work is an effective way of healing trauma and of transforming patterns that no longer serve us. In a world that pulls for numbness, it is an act of liberation and resistance to become present in our embodied experience. From this place we can act clearly and sustainably, aligned with our values and our capacity. It can be particularly powerful to access this embodied presence while raising little ones.
Alongside working somatically, I hold a feminist, liberation, and attachment-based frame to bring insight and fresh perspective to my client’s experiences. I will take care in getting to know you thoroughly so that I may best serve you in your current season of life. I am queer- and neurodiversity-affirming and welcome folks of all genders, neurotypes, races, abilities, and walks of life. I look forward to connecting!
